Minos Palace Resort reveals plans for new longevity hub

Minos Palace Resort, a member of Bluegr Hotels & Resorts, has revealed plans to open a longevity hub in May 2025.

Named Nao, the new addition to the Cretian hotel will take an approach to wellness that integrates ancient healing practices with advanced diagnostics and treatments.

Situated at the heart of Minos Palace Resort, on a secluded private peninsula with 360° views of the Aegean, Nao is designed to inspire lifestyle changes in its guests, with interiors by Athenian studio Stones & Walls that reflect this philosophy. Derived from the ancient Greek word meaning ‘to flow’, the concept of Nao symbolises harmony and continued transformation.

At its core lies an approach to wellbeing that targets the ‘12 hallmarks of ageing’ – the key biological processes said to drive ageing – to guide guests in extending their lifespan and health span.

The concept centres around the four foundational pillars of wellbeing: nutrition, sleep, movement and self-mastery, with physical, mental and emotional health targeted through design and experience. Treatments on offer include red light therapy, cryotherapy and vibroacoustic therapies, which uses sound frequencies to promote relaxation.

“Nao has naturally emerged as a response to the global call for a happier and healthier world,” says Gina Mamidaki, CEO of Bluegr Hotels & Resorts. “It’s a true embodiment of our deep commitment to care, sustainability, innovation and excellence spanning more than 50 years.”
